John E. Kelley, Ph.D.

Dr. John Kelley is a California licensed psychologist (#PSY6703) in private practice at The Anxiety & Stress Center. Dr. Kelley is certified by the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America in both Biofeedback (#B-2210) and Neurofeedback (#E-1602). He is also certified by the Society for the Advancement of Brain Analysis in the Quantitative EEG.

Dr. Kelley received three degrees from the University of Arizona in Tucson: a B.A. in Psychology in 1970, an M.A. in Psychology in 1973, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1974. He interned at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City from 1973 to 1974.

Dr. Kelley taught undergraduate and graduate psychology at Memphis State University from 1974 to 1980. Subsequently, he taught at Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University from 1980 to 2006. He was the Director of the Biola Counseling Center from 1984 to 2006.

Dr. Kelley works with both children and adults. He works from an integrated social learning, cognitive-behavioral, physiological therapeutic perspective. He emphasizes immediate, practical, action-oriented, non-invasive, non-medication solutions to overcoming psychological and relationship dysfunction.
